To commemorate ANRI’s original release anniversary, we have a special announcement to make.
We are officially confirming ANDI’s voice database and the reimagining and full remake of the original ANRI voice database for Synthesizer V Studio 2. This marks the first time we are releasing two voices for SV2 as a bundled unit, and we hope our fans are as excited as we are for their arrival in 2026.
For ANDI, we set out to create a completely new experience- one built from the ground up to introduce him as a standalone vocalist who can confidently hold his place in our expanding lineup. For ANRI, our goal is to faithfully preserve her spirit while fully modernizing her presence for Synthesizer V Studio 2.
The original ANRI debuted on Synthesizer V on December 11, 2021, and was discontinued from sale when ANRI Arcane released on December 11, 2023. Over the years, we’ve heard from many users who still want access to the original ANRI. We want to give all existing owners the opportunity to experience this complete overhaul and modernization through ANRI Requiem for Synthesizer V Studio 2.
Owners of the original ANRI who have registered their codes to their Dreamtonics accounts will receive access to the same discounted upgrade option offered for our other SV1-to-SV2 upgrades when ANRI Requiem becomes available for reservation.
For new owners, both voice databases will be available for purchase individually or as a discounted bundle. These new voicebanks feature entirely new recordings, developed exclusively for Synthesizer V Studio 2, bringing them in line with the standard set by AO releases such as “ANRI Arcane RDX”. This includes new vocal modes, full SV2 compatibility, and multiple quality-of-life improvements. Updated official designs will be illustrated by returning artist: 7Mora. New release visuals will be illustrated by two returning artists: Hieihirai and 紺屋鴉江 (Konya Karasue).
Development on ANDI began in late 2023, with work on the ANRI remake following in early 2024. During this time, the staff responsible for Synthesizer V 2 upgrades shifted focus to these two parallel projects. Remaking ANRI was especially important given the original’s influence on the sound profile of both titles, as well as the unique challenges of simultaneously developing and planning two vocalists for Synthesizer V Studio 2.
The Requiem naming was chosen as a way to continue ANRI’s tradition of “R-series” titles and to reflect this edition’s status as the definitive SV2 version- much as ANRI Arcane RDX expanded on ANRI Arcane. Simply calling it “ANRI Remake” didn’t feel true to the naming conventions of our voices. ANDI also carries a special moniker of his own, which we look forward to revealing when he officially debuts.
We hope these projects resonate with fans of PROGRAMMED 2 LOVE and invite everyone to experience them on Synthesizer V Studio 2.
