How to Enter

First, upload your original song submission publicly on the YouTube, SoundCloud or Twitter platforms. Your original song must feature either Synthesizer V ANRI, Synthesizer V JUN or the both of them in a duet as lead vocals. Make sure this submission is clearly tagged with #AOFEST2023 in the title or body of the upload.

Then, email social@audiologie.us with the subject “AOFest Entry – [Your Name]” and link your YouTube, SoundCloud or Twitter submission in the body of the email.

In the email, include two (2) pieces for consideration: link to the public submission of one (1) original song, with any AUDIOLOGIE vocalist as the singer, and share a link to the screen recording of your project file in DAW as proof of composition.

  1. Contest Description

AUDIOLOGIE Co., Ltd. (“AUDIOLOGIE”) is offering the “2023 AOFest Original Music Contest” (the “Contest”) and will determine winners and award prizes based on the criteria set forth below. The Contest begins on May 11, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends at 9:00 a.m. PT on August 11, 2023 (“Overall Contest Period”). All entries must be received by 9:00 a.m. PT on August 11, 2023.

This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Youtube, SoundCloud or Twitter. You understand that any posting by you made on the social media websites Youtube, Soundcloud and/or Twitter shall be publicly available on Youtube’s, SoundCloud’s and/or Twitter’s website. Any additional personal information that you are requested to provide to AUDIOLOGIE as a participant or winner of the Contest shall be controlled and processed by AUDIOLOGIE. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to AUDIOLOGIE and not to Youtube, Soundcloud or Twitter.

  1. Eligibility

The Contest is open to all entrants 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees and their immediate families and those living in the same households, whether related or not, of AUDIOLOGIE and its affiliates, marketing, promotional, fulfillment, and/or advertising agencies (“Promotion Entities”) are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. All federal, state, and local laws apply.

You can enter the Contest by reviewing our website here: www.audiologie.us/pages/AOFEST2023.First, upload your submission publicly on the YouTube, SoundCloud or Twitter platforms. Make sure this submission is clearly tagged with #AOFEST2023 in the title or body of the upload. Then, email social@audiologie.us with the subject “AOFest Entry – [Your Name]” and link your YouTube, SoundCloud and/or Twitter submission in the body of the email. Entries are arranged in the following categories: Grand Prize Winner, First through Third runner-up. There is a limit of one (1) song entry per person.  

 

Entries containing lewd, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate content, such as but not limited to profanity, nudity, excessively amorous behavior and/or vulgar content will be rejected in AUDIOLOGIE’s sole discretion. Any song submitted that depicts illegal or criminal behaviors or activities will be rejected in AUDIOLOGIE’s sole discretion and will immediately be provided to appropriate law enforcement officials, along with any information pertaining to said entrants. Submissions must be made by the person (or co-operative) who created the original song. Collaborations are permitted with all collaborators credited. No proxies are permitted. Anyone making a submission that is found to be of someone other than the submitter  will be disqualified and barred from all further instances of the Contest. Any entrant who is not eligible for the Contest can be disqualified in AUDIOLOGIE’s sole discretion.

 

It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that they have permission to publicly release the content in their original song submission. Any entry, which does not comply with the official rules as stated, may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of AUDIOLOGIE.

 

  1. Prizes & Winner Selection

One (1) “Grand Prize Winner” Prize Pack – Includes one (1) $250 USD cash prize (sent via paypal), two (2) plush bags, four (4) keychains, two (2) amulet charms, two (2) physical voicebanks, one (1) digital synthesizer v studio pro download and exclusive VIP access to two (2) upcoming physical voicebanks, release date TBD; Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $620. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers composed of AUDIOLOGIE employees and a winner will be selected based on the following judging criteria:

 Creativity and originality (25%)
 Overall impression (25%)

All entries will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers composed of AUDIOLOGIE employees and a winner will be selected based on the following judging criteria:

One (1) “Third Runner Up” Prize Pack – Includes two (2) amulet charms, two (2) physical voicebanks; Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) $260. All entries will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers composed of AUDIOLOGIE employees and a winner will be selected based on the following judging criteria:

Quality of Composition (50%)
 Creativity and originality (25%)
 Overall impression (25%) 

 

NOTE: Any given entry can be determined the winner in only one (1) of the above categories.

There are a total of four (4) prizes available with a total ARV of all prizes of $1,560 USD. Winning entries will be compiled by AUDIOLOGIE on a public playlist and featured on our official channels. 

AUDIOLOGIE reserves the right to change the prizes or terms of the Contest at any time. In the event of a tie, we will not use a tie-break and will issue a duplicated prize to multiple winners. Winners will be asked to respond within seven (7) business days with confirmation of prize acceptance and a mailing address for the purposes of prize fulfillment. Failure to respond to the prize notification within the stated time period or without the requested information will result in disqualification, forfeiture of the prize, and the selection of an alternate winner in AUDIOLOGIE’s sole discretion. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Prize recipients shall not be permitted to (a) replace his/her designated prize with another prize or item, (b) transfer or assign his/her designated prize to another person, or (c) substitute any prize or prize component for cash. In the event of unavailability, AUDIOLOGIE reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state, local, and other taxes on prizes, including any applicable import taxes on prizes, are the sole responsibility of the person accepting the prize.   1. Disclaimers

AUDIOLOGIE will not be responsible for any damage or loss of any prize materials during shipping or transmission, nor for any shipping or transmission error resulting in delivery failure of prize materials to winners. AUDIOLOGIE will not be responsible for any data transfer error resulting in late or incomplete contest submissions. By entering this Contest, you agree to abide by the ruling of the judges. All judges’ decisions are final.

  1. Data Collection

All personal information from you that is collected by AUDIOLOGIE will be used solely for the administration of the Contest and in accordance with AUDIOLOGIE’s Privacy Policy and official contest rules. By entering the Contest, you agree to all of the terms and conditions set forth herein.

  1. General

All entrants agree to comply fully with each provision in these official rules. Any person attempting to defraud, deceive, or in any way tamper with this Contest and any person who does not comply with these official rules, will be ineligible for any prize(s) and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If, during the Overall Contest Period, for reasons beyond AUDIOLOGIE’s control (including, but not limited to, tampering or computer virus infection, etc.), the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, AUDIOLOGIE, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest, without liability and to the extent feasible, will determine winners and award prizes among entries received prior to cancellation or modification. AUDIOLOGIE is not responsible for internet, computer hardware and software, phone, and other technical errors, malfunctions, and delays.

Submission of topline melody that bears too much resemblance to other entries or existing songs is strictly prohibited. In the event that a participant is found to have engaged in plagiarism, AUDIOLOGIE reserves the right to disqualify their entry at any time based on its own judgment. By entering the Contest, entrants grant AUDIOLOGIE full rights to use an entrant’s song submission, Youtube, SoundCloud and/or Twitter account username, post(s), tweet(s), and any other information requested by AUDIOLOGIE) for advertising, marketing, and promotional purposes as AUDIOLOGIE so determines in its sole discretion, in all media, worldwide, and in perpetuity without notice or compensation, except where prohibited by law.

AUDIOLOGIE will not share your personal information with any third-party affiliates, except in promoting the Contest and its winners.

Participants maintain full ownership of their work, including copyrights for sound recordings and musical compositions. Contest entrants may also release their music on streaming services at any time. Winning entries must authorize audiologie to feature their work in promotional announcement videos.

By entering the Contest, participants agree to the official rules as stated herein, without exception.  

  1. Right to Use Your Work and Information About You

By submitting an entry, you: (a) represent and warrant that your entry is your wholly original work, not previously published, and does not incorporate or include anything that is owned by any third party or would require the consent of any third party and your entry does not violate any copyright, trademark, publicity right, privacy right or any other right of any third party; (b) agree with all terms and conditions as set forth in these official rules; (c) warrant that you have the express permission of any individual appearing in your entry the right to use their original song submission and if requested by AUDIOLOGIE can provide written proof of such; (d) automatically grant to AUDIOLOGIE an exclusive, worldwide, royalty free, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, create derivative works from, modify, publish, edit, translate, distribute and display your entry; (e) agree that upon selection as a winner of any prize, you agree that your entry shall legally be considered a “work made for hire,” with all rights therein, including, without limitation, the exclusive copyright, transferred to and being the property of AUDIOLOGIE; (f) agree that upon selection as a winner of any prize, in the event your entry is considered not to be a “work made for hire,” you irrevocably assign to AUDIOLOGIE all right, title, and interest in and to your entry (including, without limitation, the copyright) in any and all media whether now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, anywhere in the world, with the right to make any and all uses thereof, including, without limitation, for purposes of advertising or trade; and (g) agree that by submitting an entry, you grant to AUDIOLOGIE the right to distribute your entry on any of its websites or in any of its advertising and/or products without any compensation. The rights granted under this paragraph shall extend to AUDIOLOGIE and its indirect and direct parent companies and their respective affiliated companies with respect to all entries and all other submitted materials related to the Contest, including those submitted by non-winners and winners.

By submitting an entry, you grant to AUDIOLOGIE the right, except where prohibited by law, to use your original song submission, account username for advertising and promotional purposes in promoting or publicizing AUDIOLOGIE, its products or services, without compensation unless required by law. You shall have no right of approval, no claim to compensation, and no claim (including, without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity) arising out of any use, blurring, alteration, or use in composite form of your original song entry and account username. The rights granted under this paragraph shall extend to AUDIOLOGIE, and affiliated companies with respect to all entrants in the Contest, including non-winners and winners. AUDIOLOGIE, however, does not have any obligation to use the winning or non-winning entries for any purpose.

  1. Release of Liability and Issues of Law

By participating in the contest, all entrants release AUDIOLOGIE and their respective affiliates, partners, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees and all entities associated with the development and execution of this Contest from any and all liability with respect to and in any way arising from: (i) participating in this Contest, (ii) acceptance or use of prizes, (iii) any injury or damage to an entrant’s or third person’s computer related to or resulting from the Contest, the entries and/or its prizes, and (iv) damage to a user’s computer system (including, without limitation, any server failure or lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction) due, either directly or indirectly, to an entrant’s participation in the Contest or downloading of information in connection with the Contest. AUDIOLOGIE reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest in the event that any portion of any website used to administer any aspect of the contest becomes technically corrupted.

All federal, state and local laws and regulations are applicable.
